Ready to sit with everyone for the economic development of Pakistan-Shehbaz Sharif

Karachi, January 8,2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his willingness to engage with all stakeholders for the country’s economic development, stating that he was delighted to visit the stock market for the first time in his political career.

Speaking at an event held at the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi, the Prime Minister said that the country’s journey towards economic growth has begun, and everyone deserves appreciation for achieving economic stability.

Regarding the homegrown economic program “Uraan Pakistan,” he remarked that similar attractive programs had been presented in the past, but this initiative is expected to bring economic progress and social prosperity. He emphasized the need to move forward towards sustained development.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan’s economy is gradually stabilizing and reiterated that the primary goal is economic growth. He called on economic experts to provide guidance for further advancement.

He praised Karachi as the “City of Lights” and acknowledged its critical role as the backbone of the national economy. He noted that while the city had faced challenging times, peace has now been restored.

The Prime Minister added, “If we claim that everything is perfect, we would be living in a fool’s paradise. Progress can only be made by acknowledging reality, appreciating positive developments, and addressing shortcomings.”

Shehbaz Sharif concluded by stressing the importance of seeking advice from experienced professionals to steer the country towards sustainable development.
