Islamabad, January 18, 2025: Mahmood Khan Achakzai, leader of the Pakistan Movement for the Protection of the Constitution, has voiced strong opposition to the ongoing negotiations between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government. He has called for an immediate halt to these talks, arguing that continuing the negotiations would legitimize an illegitimate government.

Achakzai urged former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who leads the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), to take decisive action by forming a national government. In a statement, he advised Nawaz Sharif to declare, “Enough is enough,” signaling an end to the current political stalemate.

Additionally, Achakzai suggested that Shehbaz Sharif should step down to pave the way for the formation of a national government. He further remarked that if PTI leader Imran Khan compromises, he could return to the role of Prime Minister.
