Match officials announced for Tri-Nation ODI series

Lahore, February 1, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for the upcoming tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Australia’s David Boon, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees, will serve as the match referee for the series.

The tri-nation series, set to be played in Lahore and Karachi from February 8-14, marks the return of international cricket to the newly upgraded Gaddafi Stadium and National Bank Stadium.

Pakistan vs New Zealand (Feb 8, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore)

  • On-field Umpires: England’s Michael Gough (ICC Elite Panel) & Pakistan’s Faisal Khan Aafreedi (ICC International Panel)
  • Third Umpire: Richard Illingworth (ICC Elite Panel)
  • Fourth Umpire: Rashid Riaz (ICC International Panel)

New Zealand vs South Africa (Feb 10, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore)

  • On-field Umpires: Richard Illingworth & Rashid Riaz
  • Third Umpire: Michael Gough
  • Fourth Umpire: Asif Yaqoob

Pakistan vs South Africa (Feb 12, National Bank Stadium, Karachi)

  • On-field Umpires: Asif Yaqoob & Michael Gough
  • Third Umpire: Richard Illingworth
  • Fourth Umpire: Faisal Khan Aafreedi

Final – February 14, National Bank Stadium, Karachi

  • On-field Umpires: Ahsan Raza (ICC Elite Panel) & Richard Illingworth
  • Third Umpire: Michael Gough
  • Fourth Umpire: Asif Yaqoob
