Islamabad, September 9, 2024-Senior Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI) has sentenced Syed Rehman in an encroachment case, imposing rigorous imprisonment along with a fine of one hundred thousand rupees, and sending him to Adiala Jail.

Magistrate Asif emphasized that no individual will be allowed to engage in encroachment within any area of the federal capital. “Despite repeated warnings, these individuals persist. The more leniency shown to encroachers, the more they exploit it. Those involved in such offenses cannot be pardoned or afforded any concessions. We will continue to take strict action against those who harm the environment. No one will be allowed to mar the beauty of the CDA, and the law applies equally to all,” he affirmed.
