Rawalpindi, February 12, 2025 – Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has called on students across Pakistan to embrace “Pakistaniyat” and strive for academic excellence, equipping themselves with the skills needed to drive the nation’s progress.

Addressing a delegation of university and college students, General Munir stressed the importance of education and skill development in securing a prosperous future for Pakistan. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he urged students to focus on their studies and acquire practical expertise to play a constructive role in national development.

During his address, General Munir also spoke about external threats, particularly the challenge of cross-border terrorism, and highlighted the critical role of the armed forces in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Pakistani people in the fight against terrorism and commended the armed forces and law enforcement agencies for their unwavering commitment to national security.

Recognizing the energy, creativity, and potential of Pakistan’s youth, the army chief described them as future leaders of the country. He emphasized the need for students to take pride in Pakistan’s history, culture, and values, reinforcing their intellectual and moral growth.

General Munir’s message underscores the military’s emphasis on education and national unity, as Pakistan navigates internal and external challenges in pursuit of stability and development.
