Islamabad, August 13, 2025: Capital Hospital, Islamabad, marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a special ceremony filled with patriotic spirit and community pride. The event was graced by CDA Chairman M. Ali Randhawa as the chief guest and Member Administration Talat Mehmood as the guest of honour.

The hospital’s leadership, including Executive Director Dr. Naeem Taj and Admin Director Dr. Sartaj Ali Khan, joined doctors, staff, and community members for the national flag hoisting, singing of the national anthem, and speeches reflecting on the sacrifices that led to Pakistan’s creation.

In his address, CDA Chairman M. Ali Randhawa praised Capital Hospital’s dedication to public service, stressing that patriotism goes beyond love for the homeland and requires fulfilling one’s duties with honesty and integrity.

Member Administration Talat Mehmood said Independence Day is not just a celebration but a reminder of the shared duty to uphold liberty, unity, and justice. “Let us honour this day by committing ourselves to building a stronger, inclusive, and self-reliant nation,” he said.

Dr. Naeem Taj remarked, “Healthcare service is a form of patriotism — by caring for our people, we strengthen our nation.” He called on everyone to protect Pakistan’s dignity through unity, compassion, and hard work.

Dr. Sartaj Ali Khan added, “Hub-ul-watani means giving the best of ourselves to our country. In our hospital, every patient treated is a contribution to Pakistan’s progress.”

The event concluded with resounding chants of Pakistan Zindabad — a declaration of pride, promise, and love for the homeland.
