Pakistan, Tajikistan discuss expanding trade and business cooperation

Dushanbe, February 6,2026: Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires to Tajikistan, Rizwan Gul, met with Mr. Rakhmonalizoda Farkhodshoh Rakhmonali, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral trade and commercial cooperation.

During the meeting, Gul congratulated the chairman on assuming office and commended the Chamber’s role in promoting trade and economic ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan.

Highlighting Pakistan’s interest in organizing product-specific exhibitions, the chargé d’affaires reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to deepening trade relations and enhancing private-sector linkages with Tajikistan.

Both sides emphasized the importance of sustained engagement between business communities to unlock new opportunities and further boost economic collaboration between the two countries.
