Karachi/Faisalabad, April 17, 2026: Chief Coordinator Aviation at the Ministry of Defence, Irfan Hassan, conducted an inspection visit to Faisalabad International Airport as part of ongoing evaluations of airports managed by the Pakistan Airports Authority.
During the visit, a detailed meeting was held with key government stakeholders and sectional heads of the authority to review airport operations, flight handling mechanisms, and operational challenges.
The Airport Manager of Faisalabad International Airport briefed the visiting official on ongoing development projects, future expansion plans, and existing constraints. A comprehensive presentation, including a one-year performance overview, was also shared during the session.
As part of the visit, a thorough inspection was carried out covering Service Level Agreements (SLAs), commercial operations, airside facilities, the air traffic control tower, passenger lounges, and overall facilitation services.
The Chief Coordinator expressed satisfaction with cleanliness standards and passenger facilitation arrangements, commending the Pakistan Airports Authority for maintaining efficient service delivery. He also interacted with staff at facilitation desks and reviewed inter-agency coordination to further enhance operational efficiency.
