Dushanbe, August 6, 2026: Tajikistan will showcase its rich historical and cultural legacy through an international exhibition titled “Tajikistan – The Land of Unique Heritage”, scheduled to open on October 20, 2026, at the Museo delle Civiltà (Museum of Civilizations) in Rome, Italy.
The exhibition is being organized as part of the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event is jointly arranged by the National Museum of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Museo delle Civiltà, reflecting the growing cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy.
The exhibition aims to highlight Tajikistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, strengthen international cultural ties, and promote intercultural dialogue through the display of the country’s centuries-old civilizational legacy.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a unique collection of historical and archaeological artifacts, traditional handicrafts, and other rare exhibits representing the millennia-old history of Tajik statehood, culture and civilization.
Organizers said the exhibition is expected to serve as an important platform for introducing Tajikistan’s cultural treasures to an international audience while fostering greater appreciation of the country’s historical contributions to world civilization.
