Lahore, March 2, 2025: Indian Hindu pilgrims have departed for their homeland after completing religious rituals at the historic Katas Raj Temples, leaving with cherished memories of their visit.

Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, bid farewell to the delegation, reaffirming the government’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and safety of visiting religious groups. Trilok Chand, a party leader among the pilgrims, expressed gratitude, stating, “The people of Pakistan are loving and hospitable.”

The pilgrims commended the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) for its well-organized arrangements and the excellent accommodation facilities at the Katas Raj temple complex. Senior religious leader Goswami Ji acknowledged that Pakistan has preserved Hindu religious sites in their original state. “The efforts to protect and renovate Katas Raj as part of Hindu heritage are truly commendable,” added Trilok Chand.

ETPB Additional Secretary Saifullah Khokhar assured the visitors of Pakistan’s continued commitment to welcoming religious pilgrims with open arms. “All relevant institutions have played a commendable role in facilitating this visit,” he noted.

The departing pilgrims expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality they received, strengthening cultural and religious ties between the two neighboring nations.
