Rawalpindi, August 16, 2025: Razia Sultana, the 13-year-old daughter of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, has urged the international community to intervene to prevent her father from being sentenced under what she described as political vendetta.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Razia, in her appeal to global powers including the United States and China, as well as international human rights organizations, said her father was being subjected to cruelty through a “kangaroo court” by the Modi government in politically motivated cases.
She stressed that Yasin Malik, a prominent figure in Kashmir’s struggle for the right to self-determination, has long been in Indian custody and now faces the death penalty in what many consider an unfair and non-transparent trial.
Her emotional plea, observers note, underscores the gravity of the situation and the urgent calls for international attention on his case.
