Lahore, August 23, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to produce a documentary to commemorate the ten-year journey of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), sources told on Saturday.
The documentary will trace the PSL’s evolution from its launch in 2016 to 2025, capturing its challenges, milestones, and triumphs. According to insiders, it will be developed to international production standards, underscoring how the league transformed into one of the world’s premier T20 competitions.
Key moments to be featured include the league’s relocation from Dubai to Pakistan, its success in attracting international players, and the hurdles it overcame during the COVID-19 pandemic. Special focus will also be given to the resilience and global recognition that PSL has achieved over the decade.
Sources confirmed that the PCB will invite proposals from individuals and production houses next week, with a view to collaborating with experienced filmmakers to ensure the project reflects the PSL’s stature and impact.
The documentary is expected to premiere in 2026, marking a milestone in Pakistan’s cricketing journey and celebrating PSL’s decade-long legacy.
