Saudi pavilion at DSEI 2025 in London officially opens

London, September 10, 2025: The Saudi Pavilion at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition was officially inaugurated in London today. The pavilion, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), runs from September 9–12 and brings together global leaders in the defense and security industries to exchange expertise, strengthen partnerships, and showcase cutting-edge military technologies.

The pavilion was inaugurated by Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of GAMI, in the presence of Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood, Deputy Minister of National Guard; Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff; Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and GAMI Board Member; and Mr. Bandar bin Salman Al-Sudairi, Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in the UK. The opening ceremony was also attended by senior Saudi and international military officials, CEOs of national companies, and global defense experts.

During the inaugural tour, guests were briefed on the latest national defense products, industrial capabilities, and advanced technologies on display at the pavilion.

Eng. Al-Ohali emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s participation in DSEI 2025 aligns with its efforts to position the Kingdom as a regional hub for military industries, strengthen international partnerships, and attract high-quality investments. He reiterated that the initiative is directly linked to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to localize over 50% of government defense spending by the end of the decade.

“The Saudi Pavilion represents a strategic platform to highlight the progress of national companies in developing innovative defense products and technologies. It reaffirms our commitment to international cooperation and our contribution to regional and global security and stability,” Al-Ohali said.

The pavilion features the participation of key Saudi defense and technology organizations, including the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL), GDC Middle East, and the World Defense Show (WDS).

Throughout the exhibition, the Saudi Pavilion will host bilateral meetings with international companies and delegations, foster knowledge exchange, and highlight GAMI’s regulatory role, national priorities, and investor support mechanisms.

This participation underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the global defense sector and demonstrates its commitment to empowering national companies, enhancing competitiveness, and contributing to national security and sustainable economic growth.
