London, December 11, 2025: YouTuber Adil Raja has publicly apologised to Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer after a London court ruled against him in a high-profile defamation case.

In a statement to the media, Adil Raja confirmed that the court had ordered him to pay £50,000 in damages to Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer. Additionally, the court imposed £260,000 in legal costs, significantly raising the financial penalty against him.

Raja admitted that between June 14 and June 29, 2022, he had made multiple allegations against Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer which the court determined were false, unsubstantiated, and defamatory. He acknowledged that he failed to provide any evidence to support the claims he had circulated on his platforms.

It may be recalled that Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer had filed the defamation suit in the United Kingdom, ultimately securing a verdict in his favour after a lengthy legal process.

As part of the judgment, the court directed Adil Raja to issue a public apology to Brigadier (Retd) Rashid Naseer. The apology is required to be published across all of Raja’s social media platforms — including X, Facebook, YouTube, and his official website — and must remain visible for 28 consecutive days.

The ruling marks a significant legal setback for the UK-based YouTuber and underscores the consequences of spreading unverified allegations on digital platforms.
