Turkey: 4 died, 14 injured in terrorist attack in Ankara

Ankara, October 23,2024-A terrorist attack and shooting at the headquarters of an aerospace and defense company in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, resulted in the deaths of four civilians and injuries to fourteen others.

According to Turkish media, the attack was carried out by three armed individuals, including a woman, who took several employees of the industrial unit hostage. Turkish security forces eliminated the attackers.

The Turkish President, who was on a visit to BRICS, also confirmed the deaths of civilians and the injuries of fourteen individuals in the terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, Turkey’s Interior Minister stated that the terrorist attack occurred within the premises of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI).

Arab media reported that two armed attackers threw explosive materials and opened fire at the defense industrial unit, which included a female assailant.
