Peshawar, January 11, 2026: The Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory (PFSL) has completed a detailed analysis of videos related to the May 9 incidents in Peshawar, confirming the presence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Kamran Bangash, Taimur Jhagra, and Irfan Saleem, police said.

The report was prepared at the direction of the Anti-Terrorism Court, which had requested a forensic examination in connection with the Radio Pakistan attack case.

According to police, 16 videos linked to the May 9 incidents were submitted to PFSL via USB. Experts conducted a frame-by-frame technical and visual review. The report found no evidence of editing or alteration in several videos, though a few contained added logos and text. Signs of clip splicing were detected in two videos featuring Sohail Afridi and Irfan Saleem.

PFSL experts also compared the individuals in the videos with their social media profile pictures. The analysis concluded that the people appearing in the videos matched the profiles of Sohail Afridi, Irfan Saleem, Kamran Bangash, and Taimur Jhagra.

The forensic examination focused solely on visual material; audio and other forms of evidence were not included. The analysis was conducted between December 19 and December 23, 2025.

Police officials confirmed that the report will be submitted to the court for further proceedings.
