Riyadh, January 12, 2026: Ahead of the official opening of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2026, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, accompanied by Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, visited the Pakistan Pavilion and lauded it as one of the most visually impactful features of the event.
The Saudi minister highlighted the pavilion’s marked improvement compared to previous editions and described it as a premier platform for engagement with the global mining community. The Pakistan Pavilion, themed “The Mineral Marvel,” has already drawn strong interest from international investors attending the forum.
Organized by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) as the lead partner on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, the pavilion showcases interactive exhibits highlighting Pakistan’s mineral potential. A key attraction is the newly launched National Minerals Data Center, a digital portal designed to modernize mineral governance and facilitate investment in Pakistan’s mining sector.
Officials said the pavilion reflects Pakistan’s growing focus on presenting its mineral resources through modern, investor-friendly platforms at international forums.
