Washington, D.C., January 23, 2026: Senator Saleem Mandviwalla represented Pakistan in a series of parliamentary and community engagements in the United States, aimed at strengthening legislative-level interaction and sustained dialogue between the two countries.
As part of the visit, a congressional session was held on January 22, 2026, at the Rayburn House Office Building, U.S. Congress. The session was hosted by Dr. Gholam Mujtaba, Chairman of the Pakistan Policy Institute USA (PPI-USA), with the support of Congressman Al Green. It featured interactions with members of the U.S. Congress, including Congressman Al Green of Texas, Congressman Ron Estes of Kansas, and Congressman Tom Suozzi.
Participants underscored the importance of maintaining regular engagement with Pakistan through parliamentary and institutional channels. Congressman Ron Estes delivered the keynote remarks, emphasizing the value of dialogue and cooperation in addressing shared challenges.
