Islamabad, February 4, 2026: A Romanian delegation, led by Lieutenant General Liviu Mihail Iancu, Deputy Head of the Department of Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations at the Romanian Ministry of National Defence, called on Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties. Areas of potential cooperation highlighted included training programs, port calls, joint exercises (PASSEXs), and high-level exchange visits, underscoring the commitment to enhancing defence collaboration between Romania and Pakistan.
