Lahore, February 27,2026: England fast bowler Tymal Mills has joined Peshawar Zalmi as a direct signing ahead of the historic 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League, scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3.

The franchise confirmed the signing through its official social media platforms, welcoming the left-arm pacer with the message: “The storm just leveled up. Let’s welcome England’s express pacer Tymal Mills to the Yellow Storm.”

Mills becomes Peshawar Zalmi’s second direct signing for the upcoming season. Earlier, the franchise signed Australian all-rounder Aaron Hardie as a replacement for Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who withdrew from the tournament.

The experienced pacer previously represented Peshawar Zalmi in the third edition of the league, featuring in five matches and taking seven wickets at an economy rate of 7.21. Overall, Mills has appeared in 30 PSL matches, claiming 37 wickets at an economy of 8.41, including stints in the last two editions with Islamabad United.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi have retained a strong core from their previous squad. Captain Babar Azam was retained in the Platinum category for PKR 70 million. He was followed by Sufiyan Muqeem in the Diamond category (PKR 44.8 million), Abdul Samad in Gold (PKR 28 million), and Ali Raza in the Emerging category (PKR 19.6 million).

The PSL 11 player auction — the first in league history to replace the traditional draft system — was held earlier this month at the Expo Centre, where all eight franchises finalised their squads. Peshawar Zalmi further strengthened their lineup by signing Michael Bracewell and Kusal Mendis for PKR 42 million each, while adding James Vince and Mohammad Haris to boost their batting.

Fast bowlers Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad were also recruited to further reinforce the team’s pace attack ahead of the new season.
