Karachi/Islamabad: March 24, 2026; Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Deputy Speaker, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, visited today the residence of Senator Sherry Rehman in Karachi to offer their heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of her daughter, Marvi Khurshid Malik.
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed profound sorrow and grief over the irreparable loss. They offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace and for her elevation to the highest ranks in the hereafter.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stated that the sudden loss of an only daughter is an immense tragedy for Ms. Sherry Rehman and her family. He expressed complete solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time and prayed that Almighty Allah grants them strength, patience, and fortitude to endure this profound loss. He further remarked that words are insufficient to capture the pain of losing a daughter, and extended his deepest sympathies to Senator Sherry Rehman and her family.
Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also conveyed his heartfelt condolences and expressed deep grief over the tragic loss. He stated that the pain of losing a child is beyond words and prayed that Almighty Allah grants the bereaved family courage, resilience, and steadfastness. He further prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace and for the family to be blessed with patience and strength during this period of profound sorrow.
