Islamabad, March 29, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Sunday, where both sides discussed the evolving regional situation and ongoing developments.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Dar emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation, reiterating that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path toward achieving lasting peace in the region.
He also underscored the importance of bringing an immediate end to all attacks and hostilities, calling for collective efforts to stabilize the situation.
The foreign minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at restoring regional peace and stability.
