Islamabad, April 7, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, focusing on the evolving situation in the Middle East and broader regional dynamics.

During the discussion, both leaders exchanged views on recent developments and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in addressing escalating tensions.

The Norwegian foreign minister expressed appreciation and full support for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability through diplomatic engagement, recognizing Islamabad’s role in facilitating dialogue during the crisis.
