Pakistan, Kuwait reaffirm strong ties and support for diplomacy

Islamabad, April 14, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Sabah, to discuss regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating the Islamabad Talks and appreciated the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister in advancing dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

During the conversation, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to sustained diplomatic efforts, emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to resolving regional issues and ensuring lasting peace.

Both leaders also reaffirmed the longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, expressing satisfaction over ongoing cooperation and mutual understanding. They agreed to remain in close contact to further strengthen bilateral ties and coordinate on matters of shared interest.

The exchange reflects Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic outreach and underscores Islamabad’s growing role in promoting peace and stability through constructive engagement.
