Islamabad, May 4, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to review the country’s petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) stock position amid ongoing global and domestic challenges.

According to an official statement issued by the Government of Pakistan, the Petroleum Division briefed the meeting on the prevailing fuel supply situation and confirmed that, after accounting for incoming shipments, sufficient stocks are available to ensure uninterrupted availability of POL products across the country until the third week of June 2026.

The meeting was informed that the supply position is being monitored on a daily basis through the National Coordination and Management Committee (NCMC) to maintain effective oversight and ensure proactive supply chain management.

Dar appreciated the efforts of all relevant stakeholders for maintaining steady and reliable fuel supplies nationwide, particularly during a period marked by economic and geopolitical uncertainties.

The meeting was attended by the federal ministers for petroleum and information technology and telecommunication, Minister of State for Finance, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, senior officials of the Petroleum Division and Interior Ministry, as well as representatives of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and other relevant departments.
