Islamabad, July 30, 2026: Pakistan and Türkiye have reaffirmed their unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories during a telephone conversation between their foreign ministers.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday to discuss recent regional and international developments, with particular focus on the situation in Palestine.
The two foreign ministers voiced serious concern over the continued Israeli military actions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, repeated violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions affecting Palestinian civilians.
They reaffirmed their steadfast support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and stressed the importance of coordinated diplomatic efforts to address the ongoing crisis.
During the conversation, the two sides also discussed Jordan’s proposal to convene a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries aimed at coordinating diplomatic initiatives in support of the Palestinian people.
The call underscored the close coordination between Pakistan and Türkiye on regional issues and their shared commitment to advancing diplomatic efforts for peace, stability and the protection of Palestinian rights.
