Islamabad, August 28, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday, with the two sides discussing the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Foreign Office, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on regional developments and discussed forthcoming diplomatic engagements, including the upcoming meeting of the R4.
Ishaq Dar and Hakan Fidan agreed to remain engaged on issues of common interest as the regional situation continues to evolve.
The latest contact reflects continued close coordination between Pakistan and Türkiye on regional and diplomatic matters.
