Islamabad, September 10, 2026: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Pakistan Han Sungho held a meeting with President of the Zhob Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) Asfandyar Khan and other chamber representatives to explore opportunities for expanding economic and commercial cooperation between Pakistan and Korea.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the economic and industrial potential of Zhob and discussed ways to develop stronger business linkages between the two countries.
Particular attention was given to opportunities for practical cooperation and investment in key sectors, including agriculture, mining and mineral processing.
The participants highlighted Zhob’s potential in these areas and emphasised the importance of promoting greater interaction between the business communities of Pakistan and the Republic of Korea.
The meeting underscored the potential for Korean investment, technology and expertise to contribute to the development of Zhob’s productive sectors while creating new avenues for bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Both sides expressed interest in exploring further opportunities for collaboration aimed at strengthening Pakistan-Korea economic relations and promoting sustainable industrial development in the region.
