Bahawalpur, December 4, 2024 -A tragic incident unfolded in the Model Avenue area of Bahawalpur, where five members of a family—a husband, wife, and their three sons—were found dead in their home, sparking fear and speculation in the community.
Police are investigating whether the deaths were the result of a murder or a suicide. A pistol discovered in the room has been sent for forensic analysis to help determine the circumstances. The family’s youngest daughter was found unconscious but unharmed and has been shifted to a hospital for medical care.
Kashif Baloch, the brother of the deceased head of the family, expressed disbelief at the possibility of suicide, stating that he had spoken to his brother the night before. “He told me he was taking our mother to the hospital in the morning. I can’t believe this could happen,” Kashif said.
Neighbors reported that the young girl was asleep near the bed and did not hear any gunshots. The security guard and nearby residents also confirmed they did not hear any unusual noises during the night.
Police confirmed finding blood near the bodies and have moved the deceased to a hospital for autopsies. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the cause of death and uncover the truth behind this harrowing incident.
