Sukkur, December 24, 2024: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has called for prioritizing high-speed internet access for the country’s youth, emphasizing its importance as modern infrastructure.

Addressing the convocation at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Sukkur, Bilawal remarked, “Motorways and roads are no longer infrastructure. The real infrastructure is high-speed internet.”

The PPP chairman congratulated the graduates and highlighted IBA Sukkur’s transformation into an internationally recognized institution, founded by his late mother, Benazir Bhutto. He assured the students that education is an unalienable asset, stating, “No one can snatch education from you.”

Bilawal also criticized the federal government, particularly its lack of understanding of youth needs and modern digital tools. “The old man sitting in Islamabad doesn’t know anything about WhatsApp, Netflix, or gaming,” he remarked.

He urged students to share suggestions for a digital rights bill and expressed concern over the absence of federal planning to address climate change, calling it a pressing issue for Pakistan’s future.
