Lahore, January 25, 2025: A recent photo of the iconic Sufi singer Abida Parveen in a wheelchair has sparked concern among her fans regarding her health. The image, shared by actress Maya Ali during an event in Qatar, prompted widespread speculation online.

In response, Abida Parveen’s team issued a statement to reassure fans of her well-being. Taking to Instagram, they clarified that the singer is in good health and thanked everyone for their heartfelt concern and prayers.

The team explained that the wheelchair was used solely for convenience during the event due to the long walking distances involved. Although Parveen walked most of the way herself, the wheelchair was provided to ensure her comfort and prevent any undue strain.

Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love and support from fans worldwide, the team affirmed that Abida Parveen remains in good health and deeply values the prayers and unwavering admiration she continues to receive.
