Lahore, April 25, 2026: Karachi Kings delivered a dominant performance to defeat Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets in the 37th match of Pakistan Super League Season 11 at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, knocking the Gladiators out of the tournament.

Chasing a challenging target of 196, the Kings cruised to victory in the 19th over with just one wicket down, powered by match-winning knocks from David Warner and Reeza Hendricks.

The Kings got off to a solid start as Jason Roy and skipper Warner built a 58-run opening stand before Jahandad Khan dismissed Roy for 20.

Hendricks then joined Warner, and the duo took complete control of the chase with an outstanding partnership. Warner led from the front with an unbeaten 89 off 48 balls, striking 10 fours and four sixes, while Hendricks hammered 87 off 48 deliveries, including eight boundaries and four sixes. The pair added a match-defining century partnership to take their side home comfortably.

Earlier, batting first, the Gladiators posted a competitive 195-6 in their 20 overs despite an early collapse. Hasan Ali struck twice in the opening over, removing Shamyl Hussain and Khawaja Nafay for ducks.

Recovering from the early setbacks, captain Saud Shakeel and Rilee Rossouw stitched together a massive 147-run partnership. Rossouw led the charge with a blistering 90 off 54 balls, while Shakeel contributed a solid 57 off 34 deliveries.

Late wickets dented Gladiators’ momentum, with Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, and Rizwanullah picking up two wickets each to restrict the total. Dinesh Chandimal remained unbeaten on 30 in the closing stages.

With this emphatic victory, Karachi Kings strengthened their position in the tournament, while Quetta Gladiators were eliminated from the ongoing edition.
