Riyadh, August 20, 2025: Saudi Arabia’s cabinet has strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “Greater Israel” plan, declaring it a violation of international law and Palestinian rights.

The meeting, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, urged the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the international community to take immediate steps to halt Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people.

In its statement, the cabinet denounced the expansion of Jewish settlements around occupied Jerusalem, calling the move a dangerous escalation that undermines peace efforts in the Middle East.

Reiterating the Kingdom’s longstanding position, the cabinet stressed Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state on Palestinian land, in line with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
