Doha, November 6, 2025: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday met Nasser Bin Faisal Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Director General of Al Jazeera Media Network, in Doha to discuss matters of mutual interest and media cooperation.

Welcoming the Director General, President Zardari expressed appreciation for Qatar’s warm hospitality and the fruitful meetings he held with Qatari leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, the Prime Minister, and the Minister for Defence.

The President praised Al Jazeera’s global contribution to promoting objective journalism and enhancing understanding among nations. He also lauded Qatar’s principled stance on major regional and international issues, particularly its leadership role in efforts to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and restore peace in Gaza.
