Islamabad, December 23, 2025: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) continued its public auction of residential and commercial plots in Islamabad on Tuesday, with total sales in the first two days surpassing PKR 14.809 billion. The auction is being held at the Jinnah Convention Centre under the supervision of the Auction Committee, chaired by Member Finance Tahir Naeem.

On the second day, Plot No. 12 in Sector D-12 Markaz fetched PKR 1.04 billion, while Plot No. 284-A in Sector F-10/3 was sold for PKR 24.6 crore, bringing the day’s total to PKR 1.28 billion. On the first day, high-profile plots in the Blue Area, including Plot No. 15 and Plot No. 17, were auctioned for PKR 3.52 billion and PKR 9.15 billion, respectively. Additionally, plots in the Orchards Scheme along Murree Road, Plot No. 37-C and 37-D, were sold for PKR 42.2 crore and PKR 42 crore.

The auction, offering plots of various categories for investment, will continue until December 24 at the Jinnah Convention Centre. Investor-friendly measures are in place, including a 5% discount for payments in US dollars for commercial plots and a similar discount for lump-sum payments within 30 days of bid approval. Building plan approvals are provided after 25% payment, with possession granted upon 75% payment. All received bids will be scrutinized and submitted to the CDA Board, the authority responsible for final approval.

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa said the revenue generated from the auction would be invested in the construction, development, and beautification of Islamabad, reinforcing the city’s infrastructure and urban planning initiatives.
