Islamabad, December 31, 2025: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday underscored the importance of peace and stability in the region during a meeting with Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, at the Prime Minister House.
The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, during which the prime minister conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Expressing satisfaction over the excellent state of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his strong commitment to further deepening the long-standing fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries. He thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his continued patronage and support to Pakistan, which, he said, has brought bilateral relations to unprecedented levels.
The prime minister fondly recalled his meetings with the Saudi crown prince during the year, describing them as highly productive and instrumental in elevating Pak–Saudi cooperation across various sectors. He also expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support to Pakistan in times of need and its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Exchanging views on recent regional and global developments, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to maintain peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy, reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and regional harmony.
Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy conveyed warm greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the prime minister. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s desire to further expand cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest and to continue working closely for regional peace and stability.
