Islamabad, January 12, 2026: President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 13 to 16, 2026, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
During the visit, President Zardari is scheduled to hold meetings with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. The talks will cover a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
According to official sources, the visit aims to further strengthen Pakistan’s longstanding relations with the brotherly Gulf nation and explore new avenues for cooperation. Key areas of focus will include trade and economic partnership, defence and security cooperation, and enhanced people-to-people contacts.
The visit is expected to give renewed momentum to Pakistan-Bahrain relations and reaffirm the shared commitment of both countries to regional stability and mutual development.
