Islamabad, July 28, 2026: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan paid a farewell call on Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, in Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Dr. Akhtar commended the ambassador’s valuable contributions to strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of higher education and academic collaboration between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
Reaffirming the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries, the HEC chairman underscored the importance of sustaining close cooperation and further expanding academic partnerships, including collaboration between higher education institutions.
Both sides emphasized the significance of continued engagement to promote educational exchanges and deepen people-to-people ties, expressing confidence that Pakistan-Kazakhstan cooperation in higher education would continue to grow in the years ahead.
