Rawalpindi, December 3, 2024- Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed that the armed forces, with the unwavering support of the nation, are fully prepared to counter all threats to Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Asim Munir visited Narowal and Sialkot, where he was received by Corps Commander Gujranwala and the Inspector General of Training and Evaluation.

During his visit, the Army Chief inspected field training exercises and was provided a comprehensive briefing on the objectives and execution of the drills. General Munir spent the day in the field with troops, commending their training standards, operational readiness, and high morale.

The exercises featured synchronized firepower and maneuver operations by armored, infantry, mechanized infantry, artillery, air defense, army aviation, and anti-tank guided missile units. Demonstrations also included the effective use of electronic warfare capabilities and information operations.

Addressing the troops on this occasion, General Munir emphasized the armed forces’ ability to defend the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity with the steadfast support of the people of Pakistan.

ISPR stated that the objective of these drills was to enhance professional competencies and battlefield strategies to address emerging operational challenges. The exercises were designed to disrupt enemy communication lines and counter misinformation strategies in modern battlefield environments.
