Gaza, October 6, 2024– In yet another brutal attack, Israeli forces bombed a mosque and a school in Gaza. According to Arab media, the Israeli military targeted a mosque and a school in central Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of 24 individuals and injuring 93 others. Reports indicate that a total of 50 people have been killed in Israeli strikes over the past 24 hours.

Israeli media claims that the mosque and school were being used as command-and-control centres by Hamas, while Palestinian officials state that these locations were shelters for displaced Palestinians who had been forced to flee due to the ongoing conflict. In addition to Gaza, Israeli airstrikes continue in Lebanon, with a significant attack on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, yesterday. Several buildings were damaged, but the exact number of casualties is yet to be confirmed.
