Rawalpindi, February 5, 2026: Security forces have successfully concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan, during which a series of coordinated, swift, and intelligence-driven actions were carried out against terrorist elements allegedly backed by India and accused of targeting innocent civilians, including women and children.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were launched on January 29, 2026, in Panjgur and the outskirts of Harnai District after credible intelligence confirmed the presence of militants posing an imminent threat to the local population. Security forces conducted raids on identified hideouts, resulting in the killing of 41 suspected terrorists linked to proxy networks.

ISPR said that subsequent attacks by the group referred to as “Fitna al Hindustan” were effectively thwarted through what they described as aggressive and resolute responses. This was followed by a broader series of intelligence-based operations across multiple areas aimed at dismantling sleeper cells through sustained combing and clearance efforts.

Through coordinated planning and joint execution by Pakistan’s Security Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and intelligence services, a total of 216 suspected terrorists were killed during the operation, officials said, adding that the action significantly degraded the leadership, command-and-control structures, and operational capabilities of the networks involved.

A substantial cache of foreign-origin weapons, ammunition, explosives, and equipment was also recovered. Preliminary assessments suggest external facilitation and logistical support for the militants, according to authorities.

The operations, however, came at a heavy cost. Thirty-six civilians, including women and children, lost their lives, while 22 personnel from the security forces and law enforcement agencies were killed in the line of duty. Officials praised their courage and professionalism, stating that the nation stands in solidarity with the families of the victims.

The Pakistan Armed Forces reaffirmed their resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms under the Government of Pakistan’s National Action Plan (NAP), emphasizing that counterterrorism operations will continue with full determination until all threats are eliminated.

Officials described Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 as a reflection of Pakistan’s commitment—particularly that of the people of Balochistan—to prioritize peace, unity, and development over violence and division.
